Mixed Fruit Preserve Roly Poly

125 gm al alali Mixed Fruit Preserve
200 gm flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/3 cup oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup water
al alali Icing Sugar
  • Pre-heat oven at 200°C ( 400°F)
  • Mix flour with baking soda. Add salt, oil and water to make soft dough
  • Knead and roll out into 1/2 inch thick square. Spread al alali Mixed Fruit Preserve on top, leaving small border
  • Moisten border with water, roll up and seal. Place sealed end down on greased parchment paper. Join paper ends over roll
  • Fill a baking tin with boiling water in bottom compartment, and place roll on top rack, bake for 40-45 minutes
  • Let cool. Cut into pieces then sprinkle with al alali Icing Sugar
  • Serve and enjoy!
